Pathways devises and runs research, consultation
and evaluation projects. We work to help people make shared decisions
and build their common future.
We specialise in supporting people to participate creatively and
powerfully in their communities. We support agencies to understand
the issues they are addressing; listen to local people and their
own staff; share decision making widely and to create projects
that meet local needs.
There are five main areas to our work: consultation; research
and audit; evaluation; project design and delivery and community
planning. For more detail on our work and to see examples of projects
we have delivered recently, go to the Our Work page.

''We believe that society is enriched by the active participation of its members and that people, if given the right tools, can and do take responsibility for their lives and communities''
Pathways mission statement 2004
Pathways was set up in 1998 by
its directors May Molteno and Jane Whitaker.
